Crime in LA – A Conversation with the FBI, DEA & LAPD

SCI hosted a Lunch & Learn event, “A Conversation with the FBI, DEA & LAPD on Combating Violent Crime in Los Angeles,” to provide insight and actionable details on the priorities of each agency in combatting the uptick of violent crime in Los Angeles and the surrounding counties. The event featured a panel discussion with: Kristi Johnson, Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI, Los Angeles; William Bodner, Special Agent in Charge of the DEA, Los Angeles; and Beatrice Girmala, Assistant Chief of Police, LAPD. The discussion was moderated by SCI Director Dr. Erroll Southers.
