The Public Safety Leadership Certificate Program provides mid-level managers with a 21st-century approach to public safety by adopting a multidisciplinary and “whole-of-community” methodology. The PSLP is divided into four modules:

• Leadership – Collaborative leadership, negotiation, ethics, organizational branding, values driven leadership, consensus building, conflict resolution, decision making and metrics.
• Global Threats – Terrorism, homegrown violent extremism, cyber-crime, gangs, human trafficking, drug cartels.
• Technology – Geospatial analysis, cyber security, critical infrastructure protection, resilience, information analysis, social media.
• Community Engagement – Faith organizations, mental health, juveniles, civil liberties, special populations, and outreach strategies

SCI invites applications from professionals with backgrounds in law enforcement, fire, EMS, health, social work, education or other public safety professions, as well as those working in local, state and federal agencies. Admission is selective and based on professional achievement and organizational responsibility.
