SCI Director Dr. Erroll Southers will moderate a briefing on school safety, hosted by the Security Industry Association and the Secure Schools Alliance and in coordination with the Congressional School Safety Caucus. The briefing will include speakers from the U.S. Departments of Justice and Homeland Security, providing comprehensive information on federal activities to support school safety. The Police Foundation will also present a comparative analysis of state school safety guidelines, standards and other assistance.

The Secure Schools Roundtable is part of the Security Industry Association’s annual government summit (GovSummit) in Washington, D.C., which brings together security industry leaders, federal officials, members of Congress, and state and local policymakers to address U.S. security challenges.
