Alexandra Lieben


Alexandra Lieben is the Deputy Director of the UCLA Burkle Center for International Relations. She is also a recognized organizational and management consultant, specializing in systemic organizational development with emphasis on cultural diversity and inclusion.

Lieben is a certified mediator and an experienced instructor of constructive communications and alternative dispute resolution techniques, international conflict resolution, as well as of international community and economic development. Her background lies in the film and music industry in the United States and in Europe with years of successful film- and rock concert production.

Lieben holds a Master of Public Policy degree with a specialization in international conflict resolution from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Officer Spotlight - Sergeant Arlen Castillo is an 18-year veteran of the El Monte Police Department. Currently assigned to the patrol division, she is also a member of the Public Information Officer team and is dedicated to building connections between the community and law enforcement. Read more.
