Breaking and Entering: Women of the LAPD Screening & Panel

The Safe Communities Institute, the USC Department of Public Safety and Los Angeles Women Police Officers & Associates will host a screening of the short film, “Breaking and Entering: Women of the LAPD,” followed by a panel discussion. This event will feature three groundbreaking women as they change the culture of law enforcement in Los Angeles.

Panelists include USC Department of Public Safety Assistant Chief Alma Burke, LAPD Sergeant and first female SWAT member Jennifer Grasso, and pioneering police women Helen Kidder, a retired LAPD Lieutenant. The panel will be moderated by professor Dr. Erroll Southers.
