Leadership and the Challenges of National Security

October 17, 2019 @ 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM

During his presidency, George Washington outlined his vision for national security. How has his vision manifested over 200 years later? On October 17, 2019, as part of the George Washington Leadership Lecture Series, the Sol Price School of Public Policy is presenting a lecture exploring the contemporary challenges in national security. The discussion will feature New York Times writer and national security correspondent David Sanger and SCI Director Dr. Erroll Southers. The interactive discussion will be moderated by Price Professor David Sloane.

Established through a generous gift by Maribeth Borthwick ’73, who also serves as the Vice Regent for California of the Mount Vernon Ladies’ Association, this lecture series explores the Father of our country’s lifelong accomplishments, providing a better understanding of him as a person, as well as his remarkable leadership, professional achievements, and lasting legacy.

RSVP online to attend.
