Join the Professional Community Intervention Institute (PCITI) for a free two-day symposium on urban safety, anti-violence, community wellness and trauma recovery. The symposium will provide regional “practitioner driven” rules and tools, answers and solutions, and template instructions for community safety. SCI Director Dr. Erroll Southers will deliver the keynote address. Also featured at the event will be Dr. Aquil Basheer, the executive director and founder of B.U.I.L.D, PCITI & The License to Operate Movement. Also featured will be Aqeela Sherrills, a spirit-centered activist working to promote healing in marginalized communities and community ownership of public safety.

The event is intended for public safety experts, violence intervention/prevention practitioners, trauma specialists, victim service professionals, first responders, wellness experts and others.
