Officer Spotlight – Lamont Quarker
Lieutenant Lamont Quarker has dedicated over two decades to serving and protecting his community with the Rialto Police Department, where he began his distinguished law enforcement career in 2003. Throughout his tenure, Lieutenant Quarker has demonstrated a commitment to excellence and adaptability by excelling in a diverse range of assignments. His roles have included Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, Narcotics Officer, SWAT Operator, Detective specializing in Robbery/Homicide investigations, Patrol Sergeant, Patrol Lieutenant, and Administrative Lieutenant.
In addition to his operational contributions, Lieutenant Quarker has also played a pivotal leadership role within the broader investigative community, serving as the President of the Inland Robbery-Homicide Investigators Association in 2018.
Lieutenant Quarker’s exemplary service has earned him numerous accolades, including the prestigious Officer of the Year award, recognizing his dedication, professionalism, and outstanding performance in law enforcement.
Lieutenant Quarker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Management from Union Institute & University and is pursuing his Master’s Degree in Public Administration from California Baptist University. His educational foundation, combined with his extensive field experience, has equipped him to lead with integrity, strategy, and compassion.
Lieutenant Quarker remains committed to fostering community trust, mentoring future leaders, and advancing public safety initiatives in the dynamic and challenging field of law enforcement. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Lieutenant Quarker is a licensed private pilot who enjoys spending his leisure time exploring the skies of Southern California and beyond.
