Steve’s diverse career has spanned nearly 50 years, working and living in over 50 countries.  Between 2002 and 2018 he served Sony/Sony Pictures Entertainment as their Executive Vice President of Global Protection Services (anything, anywhere, anytime).  In July 2018, he founded Bernard Global, LLC a provider of risk and resilience advisory services including cybersecurity, physical security, crisis management and awareness programs.  He continues to advise both the  FBI and US Department of State.  He is a sought-after speaker for business, academia and a variety of media events.  His time in the US Army included a tour in Vietnam where he was awarded the Bronze Star.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, with an Associate of Arts degree in Psychology.  He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).  He is also a Certified Trainer for the Office of Antiterrorism Assistance by the DoS Diplomatic Security Service.

Prior to Sony Steve held key leadership roles in security, safety and HR for high-tech, oil & gas and law-enforcement.
