SCI Fellow Talks Cross-Cultural Conflict Resolution

SCI Fellow Dr. Doron Pely joined the Cyprus News Digest to discuss his recent seminar on conflict resolution, “The Choreography of Cross-Cultural Negotiations: An Amusing and Sad Israeli-Palestinian Example.” Dr. Pely said in part:

“What I show is a frame-by-frame demonstration of how bad (negotiation) choreography begets disaster” but “good choreography understands the actors, the protagonists, the culture of the protagonists and if they come from different cultures, you need to create something in between that will enable both of them to play their roles.”
