Families on the Front Line: Confronting Extremism

SCI, in partnership with Parents for Peace, presented a national teach-in on overcoming hate and bigotry, “Families on the Front Line: Confronting Extremism.”

The online event offered inspiring voices and powerful grassroots tools to help protect at-risk youth from radicalization. The teach-in was designed to educate parents, teachers, and students about both risks and resources, providing an opportunity to learn about solutions for a public health challenge exacerbated by isolation during the pandemic.

Panelists included former extremists – including ex-KKK members, and parents of children that have been radicalized.
