State and Local Law Enforcement Addressing Human Trafficking

President and CEO of Million Kids Opal Singleton hosts a radio show, Exploited – Crimes and Technology, covering how criminals use technology to exploit children and how to protect young people from predators. In the most recent episode, Singleton, who is also an SCI instructor, spoke with Sheriff Stan Sniff, who serves as the Sheriff of Riverside County, CA, and who oversaw the creation of the Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force (RCAHT). Sniff discussed some of the cases his team has investigated and prosecuted, the Sheriff’s Department efforts in combating gang activity, and programs in the community for gang prevention and intervention.
