Life After Hate – A Conversation with Former Extremists

February 5, 2018 @ 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM

Tony McAleer (a former organizer for the White Aryan Resistance), Angela King (a former neo-Nazi skinhead), and Sammy Rangel (a former member of the Maniac Latin Disciples) are co-founders and board members of Life After Hate (LAH). Created in 2011 by former members of the American violent far-right extremist movement, LAH engages powerful stories of transformation and unique insight gleaned from decades of experience to inspire, educate, guide and counsel people out of extremist movements. Join the Safe Communities Institute for a conversation about how these individuals were radicalized, recruited and had the courage to leave these violent extremist movements.

Lunch will be provided, and seating is limited. RSVP today.
