SCI Director Dr. Erroll Southers will speak at a meeting of communities and government officials to discuss mitigating violence at houses of worship. Hosted by the Los Angeles Emergency Management Department Community Preparedness and Engagement Division, Dr. Southers will discuss hate crimes targeting houses of worship, why these locations are targeted and security strategies that can mitigate the threats to faith communities.
