The Safe Communities Institute is offering the Executive Leadership Program (ELP), which provides senior leaders with a 21st Century approach to public safety by adopting a multidisciplinary and “whole-of-community” methodology. The program is a week-long course intended to challenge international public safety leaders and enhance their analysis, coordination, and response capabilities to the evolving threats to public safety. Structured specifically for public sector professionals and policymakers, it employs an interdisciplinary academic and experiential learning environment. With visits to sites that augment the curriculum, senior leaders study and observe real world examples of topics and concepts presented in the classroom.

SCI invites senior leaders with executive or command level responsibilities from public safety backgrounds (including law enforcement, fire, health, social work, government and education) to apply for admission to the program.
